SAFE HANDS CARE
Safe Hands Care provide support & opportunities for adults with disabilities.
We meet week days at the URC but the people who use the service also go out and about quite a lot to places of interest to them. We have a fully accessible minibus. Some of the activities on offer at present would include art, crafts, quizzes, computers, woodwork, current affairs discussions, exercise, cookery, community projects and gardening. These are tailored to individual needs and ability. Safe Hands Care offer a friendly and happy environment for people to feel safe and fulfilled.
Here are just a few of the comments we have received:- ‘I wasn’t sure when I first started to attend but now I don’t know what I would do without Safe Hands’, ”it’s great because we learn new things and get out more’. ‘I get to choose what I want to do and where I want to go’. ‘he has never been happier’.
We also provide respite care and one to one services.
